Beautiful, troubling... a triumph, Sam. Congratulations on this incredible work. I know I've sent you this before, I think in hard copy, but this so reminds me of Bo Bartlett's amazing work as well. Wow.

It's a little unfair how good and natural the color dots work. Did you just select a few colors and reduce the opacity?

S: WOW. That is a megacompliment. Thank you.

A: Sorry, Ami. It had to happen.

E: Thanks Ezra! Yes, that's pretty much exactly what I did. I use the dots to try and lend the computer coloring a little bit of needed texture and depth, without resorting to the cheesy canvas textures that come with it.
