I think you've captured a time in everyone's life nearly perfectly-much like Chuck Berry's "Almost Growed." The line, "you're still a kid, too, you know' is spot-on. This is a novel (of sorts) whose characters, dialogue and artistic execution so marvelously complement one another. Thanks for posting this very enjoyable, and still unfolding, tale.
